My Turning Point is Welsh, Aberdare born, Cardiff based singer-songwriter Leon Evans.
He first picked up the guitar in school aged 15, a second hand pink Hohner strat copy and never looked back.
Joined his first band, Kudos at the age of 17, he then spent the next 20 odd years in and out of various band in local scene, playing every sort of gig imaginable, all the way up to 2000+ festival crowds.
Wrote his first song, 'Childhood Heroin' at 16, and continues to write original material to this day.
MTP writes both deeply personal, exposing 'diary entries' in his acoustic singer-songwriter ouvre.
The other side of his songwriting brain releases classic late 80's, early 90's 'classic' rock/hard rock. Think if AC/DC, The Cult, Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, pre-Hysteria Def Leppard, Iron Maiden and Dokken had a rock baby and the baby mixed normal guitars with Baritone guitars and laid down 3 part vocal harmonies and twin lead guitar melody lines over infectiously catchy rock riffs and vocals.
